Devices may appear clean today, but financial red flags, such as “UNPAID BILLS” or “DEVICE UNDER CONTRACT”, can signal a future block or failed resale. With this check, you get ahead of those issues and make smarter, lower-risk decisions across your device lifecycle.

This check should be used before or at device acquisition, or pre-resale, for devices coming from or redeploying to North America. Utilizing this check early in your device lifecycle will help reduce risk, avoid costly returns, and ensure clean inventory decisions. All before reactivation or resale is attempted.

CLEAN: The device is eligible for activation.
BLOCKLISTED: This check identifies if a specific IMEI is listed on the global GSMA Block List.
LOST/STOLEN: The device has been reported lost or stolen and has limited reuse options.
UNPAID BILLS: The customer has not fulfilled their service contract or has an outstanding balance on their account.
CLEAN-DEVICE UNDER CONTRACT: The device is in good standing, but the customer has not paid off the device’s installment plan.
DEVICE UNDER CONTRACT: There are remaining contractual obligation payments due on the device itself. The device is not good for reactivation or unlocking until they are resolved.
ACTIVE ON ACCOUNT: The device is tied to an active AT&T account that is currently in good standing.
FRAUD: There is a fraud alert attached to the device.
NON-ATT IMEI: The device is not recognized by or is incompatible with the AT&T network.
